Does not matter if you don't touch the gas or not. Its really bad when it has not been started for several days. If its only one or two you can just bump it over and it will go ...burb and then thats when you can touch the gas to keep it running.
It probably needs more initial advance but I dont think that causes this. I will try thurs.. sometimes even if its been run recent it will not just bust off. Cranking on it does no good.. you really have to just bump it.. if its going to do anything it will go burp.. other wise ..nada..
Even starting fluid will not always do the trick. some times.. if it does not hit on the 3 or 4th try i useually wait a day or so and then it works..
pain in the A demon.. only good at WFO.
just throw something out guys.. i'l try anything.. I will try to get an avi of it going from nothing to firing but its pretty unpredictable.

just tried it at about 1 when a friend came by.. nothing
almost ran down the bat. Just spins over..
Gave up for about 90 mins and came back out and it busted right off..
I did move a ground wire but, I got two others going to the motor.
When it runs it don't sound bad.. i just can't make it run when I want!!

it seems to behave lately.
Its busted right off even after a few days. I think the marginal ground was killing some of my ignition spark also. The holley CD box needs a ground to each head.
The surge is a little better. I closed the idle screw for the front barrels and opened the back. I think the backs weren't moving any fuel because the transition slot was not open enough...
