CFM?
CFM?
What CFM should i get for my stock LG4? I'm going to dump that Quadrajet and get a Holley sometime this summer and wondered which one is big enough? Also what part number would be appropriate?

If the motor's never going to see the high side of 5500 then a cheap 600 cfm vac secondary carb will do just fine. If you plan on moving up to a 350 (or larger) or otherwise working it over for some serious horsepower in the near future then I'd go with a 750 for starters, maybe more. The QJet you're taking off flows 800 CFM with minor tweaking, by the way.
Damon a 100% volumetricly efficient 350 at 6000 RPM only flows like 640 CFM. ****, even the best thirdgen without power adder is only at 90% VE and thats like 576 CFM. Don't get a big carb you will only loose torque and kill throttle response! 600 CFM is plenty. Hell, I have run 12.98 on an Edelbrock 600.
