I am looking for an 85-92 TA/GTA Project Car. Looking for a SOLID Car. Preferrably in WNY.

 

I am on Long Island BUT. How much are you looking to spend, I might have a solid car to work from. It is more of a daily driver then a project but I dont know It might be what you are looking for. It is a 1985 Trans am 305 TPi automatic. posi rear. I have not posed it in the cars for sale section yet. It runs great no problems anymore. The interior is pretty decent, the only bad thing on the interior is the dash pad. The exterior there are no major dents at all. The paint is fading but not too bad. the front bumper needs a repaint, carfax report passed fine. 15' firebird wheels with decent tires. The ONLY spot of rust that I could find was underneath where the battery is, It is rusting pretty bad. but i looked and that is the only spot that I could find. my guess was that a battery once exploded. I know you cant make an offer with out seeing it but overall it is just a daily driver/ project car. If you tell me how much you are looking to spend, I might be able to help you out.

Edit, major detail, It has T Tops. they dont leak.

I have a 91 TA, not sur what uyour idea of a project car is, but this car needs paint job and as of last Friday a front seal on the tranny. other than that....everything works...A/C blows cold and it runs very fast. Little fixing up and it will be real nice car, I am moving on to something different if I sale it, if I do not then i will continue with what I had planned for it.

I am not in NY, but I figured I would offer it out there ne ways....only asking $2000 for it.

Can you list everything that the car needs? More pics?

 

needs doors(have some) fenders(have some) seats and carpet(have some) tires...battery etc...she has a strong driveline and looks solid underneith...It needs the body work and interior mainly..it is a project..I bought it and was going to fix it up for my girlfriend but decided on a 91 z-28 instead so for $1600 I'll give you the car with extra doors...fenders...carpet and seats...if it does not sell I will part her out

It hangs with my buddys L98 that has some work done to it.
and Ive taken out a few 05 GTs on the hiway.

So I belive it has intermal motor work or something.
