Try these:

ASC

ASC Heritage

ASC Incorporated seems to be the parent company of;

American Sunroof Company - orig. equip. and aftermarket sunroofs

Automobile Specialty Company - specialty vehical manufacturing

Aeromotive Systems Company - heavy truck interiors

ASC Convertable Systems Company - maker of convertables

What is the reason you are wanting to contact them for?
From my experience.... in contacting them....
They trashed all the papers and sold out all the after market accounts and they have limited info as to who they sold them to.

If you're looking for parts... ASC dumped the paperwork after they completed the project. They do have some info, but it is very limited.

From what I got with talking with them.....
I got the feeling like.... uhhh.... Camaro conversions???
We don't like to talk about that.

Kinda like finding out about the X files.
Yes, it was done, but there are no documents left and we have no video footage.
(enter X Files music here)

I'd agree with the comment from sunbitz. No where on ASC's web site have I ever found any mention of their involvement in third generation F-body convertables. Concidering the number that they produced it seems kind of odd. Any speculation on why they seem to want to forget this project?

Saw in another thread that ' 911rsq' has a PDF file of convertible specifics from ASC... Not sure what's in it, but you might PM him and see if it would help.

Sure do....they are pretty darn good quality too. I've got the entire "blueprints" for the cars in PDF. It may have what you need. Send me a PM and I will send them to ya....

P.S. I just talked to a former employee the other day and I am gonna try to pick his mind for everything he's got......

Here's the pin, 2" is your starting point. The latch is a pretty complicated, but I can do the same for that if you want.

I contacted ASC too several years back. They don't have any. They likely tossed them all when production ended. Rumor has it that Paradise Motors in FL bought up their left over parts. I don't have any contact info for them any longer. You can do a search on this site for that info.

Best I can do. http://www.datasync.com/~firebird/side%20view/

The camera has some \/ distortion at close range. So one side or the other was going to be distorted. Pulling away and you can't see any detail.

Good luck,
