Anybody tried competition with there vert?

What do you guys think is the best setup?

Personally, I'm looking to put in a chrome rollbar, and just pulling the back seats and building a huge *** box in the back instead.

Here is my baby,

...BUT... This is the look i'm going for (i apologize, as i don't know who's car this is.... pulled it from the board a long time ago)

***! i love that chrome rollbar!!!.... so hott!

Oh my *** I have that car saved in my pics too!! I want a chrome roll bar just like that too. I love the turbo hood also. I was also thinking of pulling the rear seats and put a mid & tweeter where the back part of the back seat is supposed to be and build a locking storage compartment where the butt of the rear seat is supposed to be. With a roll bar I wouldn't expect anyone to ride in the back anyway.

I have a set of 4x6 Eclipse speakers in the dash, a set of 6.5" Eclipse speakers in the rear sail panels, and 1 Orion 10" sub in the trunk. I have a Rockford Fosgate 800W mono amp powering the sub, an Alpine V12 powering the Eclipses and a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP3 in the dash controlling it all.

I plan on upgrading to a set of Clairon or Quart components for the sail panels, and a JL 10W7 in the trunk sometime this summer.

I am building kick panels for the front with 5-1/4 and tweeter, putting 6-1/2 mid and tweeter in the back, and a 12" dvc alpine type R. Should have it all done by the end of april. I will post pics when I get started on the install.

I'm going to do that exact thing. I have already started the custum fiberglass box. But unfortunatly I have run out of funds so i have to wait till my tax returns come in. I think its going to look awesome! I'm going to paint the box the same color as my car as well. I also have some infinity component speakers for which i'm going to do the same as the sub box.

I'll be doing something similar but not covering the whole back seat. It'll just look like a carpeted flat panel ala the vette rear.

Actually i pretty much taught myself. There was a sticky that had a website where it showed you how to fiberglass step-by-step. Even on how to make the rings that you see there. I'll try and find it again.

I got a Alpine head unit, stock dash speakers, 6.5" pioneer 4-ways in the custom sail panels, scosche 1400w wiring, legacy 600w chrome amp, and a Kicker 10" 300w. I am working on my back seat delete so no sub+amp pics in the car right now. Check out my cardomain for more pictures.

Anybody know where that chrome roll bar was from. I totally want to get one. It looks so bad***

funny you should ask. I had the sub going for almost a day till the alternator crapped out. I didn't really drive it while the stereo was playing. I was working on the kick panels and such just playing it with the top down in my driveway. And it sounded pretty good. I was going to see if it made any difference with that panel out but didn't get around to it befotre the alt crapped out. The flames in that panel light up with purple neon to the beat, maybe I'll just put it in for shows, night shows anyway.
My thought on the panel was if the top was down it would block the sound anyway so I would cover the view of the top with the trunk open.
