Altson SFC's from TDS

I cannot believe I spent any money on anything else before these. SFC's in general have to be the best mod for the buck on a convertible third gen. Before they were installed the car creaked and rattled and just drove. Now the car feels heavier but in a good way. The acceleration seems crisper, the braking more linear, it handles differently, and the cornering is like I got an entirely different car.

I'm a moron for going as long as I have without them. Thanks Lon!

I agree. I got a big check for company mileage once. I baught SFC's, Front/rear sway's, new lower springs, and a wonder bar (most from topdown ;-) ) ....i never realize how much of a 'boat' my car drove before. I was deffinatly ready to get into some trouble sliding around on all the turns. :-P

I just put some on as well, but haven't drove it yet. I live in the country, and my drive way is 500 meters long and it's a total mud pit right now. The roads are dry but I can't get to them.
I can't wait to feel them, I'm glad to hear they work so well.

Wow, pretty hardcore when you'd still own a low riding sports car in places like that.

Did you weld them too, or just bolt them?

YEAH!!!!!!!!

When I had my (TDS)Alstons welded on I could tell the diffrence in the car before I even got out of the parking lot!

The two next best mods I made were the (TDS) Wonderbar, and the Eidelbrock Three point Strut tower brace.

Someone asked me how much clearance I lost with the Alstons. From what I can tell, they hang as low as the exhaust pipe:

Hope this helps, Kevin.
