1990 RS Convertible -- production numbers correct?
Did they really only build 729 RS convertibles? I just picked one up for $3200 and then saw the production numbers. Shouldn't this car we worth a whole lot more than that?

Yes they did my brother in law owned one as well (well it was ours to begin with then we sold it to him) douple check the history on the car it could have been wrecked.

729 units does make this car hard to find but not truly rare (like if there were under 50 made). Of coarse that number is low enough to have some influence but not nearly as much as condition. That would still be the #1 ranking criteria.

That's why when you get down to actual production numbers of 50 (an arbitrary number) or less, it will have an immediate and direct influnce on value.
Still a very nice and unique ride!
