Tonneau protection strip

I would appreciate any suggestions you may have on cleaning the clear plastic strip that is placed over the paint next to the black plastic on the tonneau. The following image is from iroctopless. Great site. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/525528

Re: Tonneau protection strip

I use Eagle One product Plastic cleaner and Polish on my taillights and other plastic on my car. I would think somethin along that line would work good.

The way that looks in the pic i wish I had one of those on my car, At least the paint in still intact.

Thanks, does it darken that black plastic? Mine is somewhat faded.

Re: Tonneau protection strip

are these still available aftermarket? When I first got my car, someone on Ebay had a new one NOS, in the box for sale, I didn't know what it was/was for. Dang.

Re: Tonneau protection strip

Hopefully by next week I will be getting these reproduced. Still won't be cheap though. around $100 a set for the rear and the small side pieces. There is a post from me https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/conv...s-tonneau.html on here that I will be keeping updated when these are to be made available.
