All of you factory convertible guys out there... What cars had the "Convertible Top Operation" Decal on the back of your sun visor?

I Know my 89 Formula does, what about Camaros and 91-92 Firebirds?

It looks like this:

 

I don't have one on my visors (89 IROC 'vert)

 

I have a 92 T/A and none on mine

 

My visors were replaced by me but the old ones didn't have that

 

I've got an 88 iroc vert and it doesn't have a visor sticker. It does have the ASC conversion sticker in the driver's side door jam. It also has a warning sticker behind the licenseplate door stating not to open the trunk when putting the top down. Anyone making these stickers?

 

I've got the same stickers in my 89 but they are in good shape. I need the jack sticker for the inside of the trunklid. Mine is peeling off. Anyone know where replacement stickers can be found?

 

Not on mine. - 92 Z28 Vert.

 

Pretty sure my 89 rs has one.have to look next time i m in it.

I stand corrected mine doesnt have that sticker.i ve got the driver door asc, under tonneau cover and one under trunklid.visor doesnt have an outline like it fell off or something.

 

Okfoz - No warning lable on my 91 TA vert. Just a vanity mirror on the passenger side.

I have the same one on my 92 convertible Trans Am.

 

My 90 has the decal

 

My 92 was missing the visors, but I picked some off a 92 t/a with that decal on it.

 

Just saw one the other day on a 1988 camaro sport coupe vert at my local junkyard.I peeled the decal off the visor

 

I am starting to wonder
1) Were the decals one of those things that people took off, or they did not stick well?
2) Were they forgotten at ASC?
3) So far we have a hodgepodge from 88-92 Camaro and Firebird...

Any original owners out there?

I am considering setting up and making replacements, just wondering if anyone is interested... I need one for my car as I replaced my sun visors last year....

 

I'm in. I want my Z03 as factory appearing as possible. Mine is JY faded and peeling.

You might contact member jlarsson He has made a few other stickers, that have been reproduced in very high quality. He might have a source for you to contact.

2nd owner here. Not on my visors, nor does the previous owner remember seeing one there.

 

Second owner here. No decal on mine. There is some decal up there, but it's not this one. I'll look this weekend!

 

Mine is a 92 RS Heritage Edition and it has the sticker on the visor.

My 90 Iroc Convert. has the sticker...car is mostly original including majority of the paint.

 

Sticker seems to be more than just a sticker on my 89 iroc vert. I would guess screen printed or some sort of heat transfer application. I'll take a pic.

It looks like a sticker but it don't come off. I've picked at it once or twice to see if I could get it off so I could put it back on after I had visors recovered. It's stuck pretty well.

Sorry pic could be better but I was holding ipad and flashlight to get that pic. You would think ipad would have a flash.

 

My 89 formula 350 vert has the sticker
92 TA vert does not. 92 does have the airbag sticker on the plastic trim above the sunvisor.
