Rear Defrost switch on a convertible

Hello all, I recently purchased a 1989 IROC drop top. When I got the car, the entire dash, harness, and gauges were from an early 90's Camaro. I bought a complete dash assembly, harness, and gauges from an 89 Camaro that was being parted out to get it back to original. The dash I got from the parted car has a rear defrost switch.....I was wondering what your guyses (I guess that's a word) convertibles have there? Is it just a flat plate since rear defrost is deleted?
Pics would be 100% helpful as well.
Thanks!

Looking online and seeing some IROC convertibles with rear defrost. Did some of them (say Northern cars), have it?

Can't speak of the Camaro's but if I remember correctly, the Firebirds had a different trim pieces for a section of the dash. In that section, you had possibly two switches. One for the fog lights and one for the rear defogger. I have fog lights but no rear defogger so I only have a trim piece that has just the one switch.

One of my thoughts was to buy a trim piece with two switches but use the defogger switch to control my power antenna. There's a noticeable wistle at highway speeds and would be nice to leave it down when playing CDs or MP3s.

Did not know what was supposed to go there. Sooo.....I cut a nice hole in it and put in a manual switch for the cooling fan. Sure wish I would have known that there were some out there with a switch already there......
