Do I pop off the grill from the inside or pull up the carpet from the area where the vert top folds into?

Re: How do you access the rear speakers?
You need to remove the armrest panel they are mounted on and then the grills and speakers can be taken off of the rear of the panel. Not hard. Just remove the trim along the door jam edge, the plastic cap on top by the end of the tonneau cover, and the srews along the rear edges hidden by the upper seat sections. Be careful not to break the seatbelt slot trim piece when you take the panel out. Oh, and disconnect the interior lamp that is also mounted on the panel.

On my car, the grills and speakers are on the same studs. Take the panels out and then loosen the mounting hardware and the grills, along with the speakers, will fall off.

A phillips head screwdriver goes a long way.

I like your screwdriver better than mine. Does craftsman sell those?
