Re: New to Third Gen

Hello,
I’m new to the third gen forums. I must say this site is a wealth of information . I figured this section would be the best place to introduce myself and my ‘88 convertible 5 speed. I purchased the car in early September. I’ve only had it out a couple of times but it’s a lot of fun to drive.

Re: New to Third Gen

Thanks guys. Just starting to go through the car as it’s mostly all original. It was in storage for a while before I bought it. It needs mostly cosmetic things and a tune up . The tires definitely need replacing. There doesn’t see to be any aftermarket parts on it at all. The car was owned by one family who owned a small Gm dealership. It came with all the owners manuals and pamphlets, and keys. I’ll most likely keep it the same way , just get in and go for a cruise.

Re: New to Third Gen

First off, congratulations on the pictures that look like they're from 2004. Second, congratulations on your other car being a baby blue dodge challenger! And finally, last but not least, great third gen! Welcome to the family

I guess I just got lucky. These cars to me look awesome in black. The 5-speed was icing on the cake. I forgot how fun these cars were to drive.
