rad. leaks when car is shut off
alright im pretty sur e my radiator has a crack in the casing and i was wondering why does most of the fluid i lose come out directly after i shut off and drive the car and then the leak slows down as the car sits? Is this just because of pressure. and also shouldnt it leak when the cars running also, which it doesnt. by the way the leak is on the bottom by the rubber mount bushing.
also when i change the radiator how do i cap the transmission fluid lines so they wont leak and if they do leak how much fluid will i lose?
Thanks guys

Yup sounds like U gotta leak! Pressure builds when U shut down and since your leak is on the bottom coolant level is an issue! Can't get it fixed like ya used too because it's cheaper to get a new one (Modine $109.00) When U pull tranny lines (have two pieces of hose with bolt in one end ) and slap them on when you pull each one. U won't loose enough to effect anything but the proper level.
