I am swapping engines in my 84 z and was wondering if a clutch fan will fit under the hood.

 

Seen many of these cars with the clutch fan standard, so it should surely fit.

 

Yeah, you can still order the fan shroud pieces for an '82 or '83 or so LG4 car.. That will allow you to run a clutch fan (or flex fan)..

 

i got tired of my electric fan not working right and took it out and relaced it with a clutch fan, i also used the upper and lower shrouds out of an 82 firebird i had sitting around, i did not even have to loosen the belts to do the swap, i did not use the bolts from the electric fan set up on the water pump pulley though, i used studs with nuts on the ends it was easy take out a bolt and put in a stud, everything mounted up fine, i could post a pick if ya like, let me know.
