It depends on how you want to do it.
You need the fans, and the hardware to mount them. Assuming you let one of the fans be activate/powered by the original wiring for the original fan, all you will need is the wiring for the second fan. You'll want to run it's power through a relay, and something has to activate that relay. Simplest would be a manual switch. One step better would be a temperature switch that activates the fan relay at a preset temp.

Do vehicles with factory dual fans have one that works when temp is too high and the other when a/c is used?? Or do they both come on when temp is too high?? I want to try to match the factory set up if possible...If I wire in the second fan to a temp switch, would I have to use the one that slips into the rad. hose?? Or can I use a temp sensor somwhere else?

In the factory set up, the first one is controlled by the ecm, and the second fan is activated by (either of) the coolant temp switch, or the ac pressure switch.
Read the tech article about dual fans. It should tell you about all you need to know

Easy enough to suggest an article, but I've had no luck getting one to open for my app.
I need someone to point out in simplist terms, and WITH pics, of location for these items and the simplist (I'm not too engine tech'y) way for controlling the fans (prefer both) with switch manually, at least. I think I'll have a pro inspect my system to tell if the relay itself is fried
