Rad question

Ok i have a v-6 chassis. I bought the car with a v8 in it. The guy who put engnine in kept v6 rad. its leaking and i thought it would be better to get a new v8 one. (advanced, auto zone, oreillys) who has the best? and will the v8 bolt in direct replacement?

All the ones that cost ~$130 are pretty much the same.

I didn't have to cut anything on mine. I got the attachment hardware from a junkyard but I think you could make the V6 stuff work. They have the same dimensions, I think the V8 ones are just thicker.

Attachment hardware = 2 rubber mounts that the radiator 'sits in, the top of the radiator shround (black plastic thing with five holes in it, holds the top of the rad.) and the screws that came with it. I also grabbed all the plugs and fittings but my new rad. came with em so I don't if you need em.

I'm saying I haven't tried it. The top part looked the same to me so I think it will be fine. The rubber mounts were different but I think you could cut the v6 ones or maybe you could squeeze the V8 radiator inside em. Not sure. If you get a little creative I think you could make it work but having the V8 hardware makes it easier.
