Overflow Tank Needed
Hey guys,
I still really need an overflow tank but just do NOT want to have to use the stock one. There has got to be an alternative that looks much better and can be put elsewhere. I just got my car done and would prefer to leave it as clean looking at possible. I have looked a million different types of overflow tanks and like the Jaz ones or just the plain black Summit one but apparently those aren't really recirculating tanks like the stock one is. Why are these different and can someone please suggest one that would work properly?

Thanks so much!

I remember when I was looking for components for my cooling system, I came across one from Jeg's that could be rigged as either petcock or recirculating. Nice aluminum looking, IIRC.
i can fab one for u out of stainless or aluminum if ya like heres one i just did for the rs

the one i did for the rs recirulates, and has overflow tube pointed at the ground
btw in those pics it isnt polished yet
can make them any size/any capacity, with mounting tabs were ever u like

moroso makes one that is the recerculating type. i have it on my trans am. i had to polish it, but looks good. MOR-63660 is the summit part number. dont have any pics yet, but i mounted mine by the radiator cap on the an shroud with a custom bracket i made. only draw back is that it is a 1 quart capcity, so i dont know if it will be enough ( have not driven car yet). time will tell.
thanks

I thought the tank had to be up and down and couldn't be sideways like that? Does that one just drain out the bottom or does it really recirculate??
no it can be mounted like that, the line on the driverside on the bottom is the fill/return line. the other line is just incase it pumps out more then the capacity of the can, it will overflow onto the ground instead of the paint, its been doing fine on my car, same thing as the ones u buy from summit, just mounted differently.i can make them any capacity, and add mounting tabs so it can be mounted anyway the person wants. mines mounted liek that so my intercooler fits in below it

Thanks for the replies!
I ended up getting the Moroso recirculating tank and had it mounted today.
You can see it in the bottom corner of this shot
