found these on ebay, are they needed? i dont have them on my car.

They will help but you rely need that air dam you can mack your owen outa sheet metal and it would look sick to as whell as solve your problem!

my car has those and I have them sealed all the way up to the stock air intake ducting....and that would be like not having them at all...so it may not be the reason for your over heating.
