Water Pump problem!
Water Pump problem!
I recently put a new engine into my 87 GTA. When we got the new water pump there is one hole on the top of it that we figure out. We do not know if it goes to anything or if it simply needs to be plugged up. If anyone knows about this please let me know.

Re: Water Pump problem!
is it a 1/2"NPT threaded hole? Kinda pointing back and to the right side of the car a bit? its is just an output for something like heat on certain setups. You can plug that.

Re: Water Pump problem!
a water pipe plug from the plumbing shop or auto zone or wherever
really simple
this port was used vs. the port on the radiator pass side tank,
this was actually alot less commonly used than the port on the waterpump was, some years makes models used the other port location than most other applications did
easy simple fix here
