was doing a compressor job on my 89 iroc, and the liquid line (from the condensor to the dryer) broke. is this a dealer only item or can you get a new one somewhere (ebay sells used ones, nobody else has one)

I would just try an auto parts store. If they dont have it you may try a hose company near you. There is a place around where I live that can make nearly any hose with any fittings, including AC hoses.

 

i guess i will check the dealer, or hit up a junk yard. mean's around here has a bunch of dead camaros, maybe he has one

 

Hi, If you mean the bigger line and not the skinny metal one, I've got a spare one that I picked up because it looked better than mine. All the foam insulation looked just like new, but I may never end up using it. Not sure if its the same one you need, its on lots of the V8s with the compressor on the pass. side. You can have it for $25 if it would work for you. If you PM me your email address I can send a pic if interested.

 

Oops, sorry. You probably do mean the skinny one. I've got one of those off an 84 Z28, but its used as well. You could have it for a couple bucks, but by the time you pay shipping you might rather just get one made?
