AC issues

How should i go about figuring out what part
of my AC system is funky.

Symptoms.
Air blows through the vents SOOOO very softly just enough to hear it.
Not sure if it is cold air or hot.

My friend has a 84 camaro and he said his Blower Motor was dead.
Or something along those lines.

Any way to figure this out, rather then just replacing all the parts of my AC,
because some of the parts prices are just a little scary.

Re: AC issues

make sure that air is only coming out of one set of vents and not a mix of all of them.
when you move the vent switch around(top slider on the controls) you should hear some noises.
the noise is the mixer door moving around.
one out of two things is happening here(most likely) either your blower motor is going out, the mixer door isnt opperating properly. or your switch may possibly be going out.
i would start vy testing the door and the blower motor.
