Plastic radiator tank

I found a 1 inch crack in one of the plastic tanks on my radiator. Is that possible to repair or Is it a lost cause? Thanks in advance

Re: Plastic radiator tank

The tanks themselves are replaceable. Most owners opt to replace the entire radiator with an all alumminum or copper/brass unit. I myself from experience had the dealer and radiator shop replace the tanks when I just gave up especially on the cost factor at the time for me.

Re: Plastic radiator tank

I pretty much just get a new stock replacement radiator about every other year or so. The are cheap, fit like they should, and should cool most small blocks.
