Is the smaller hose connection(on left) the inlet and the larger(on right) the outlet on my '86 camaro?

Re: Heater core inlet/outlet question

When coolant leaves the HC, it should never go back to the manifold. It should go to the water pump, radiator, or lower radiator hose.

Re: Heater core inlet/outlet question

Coolant should leave the manifold, go to HC, then return to water pump or radiator.
