water pump v6

I just bought a 1992 v6 and the water pump must have got in a bind but the water pump pulley is gone look for one at a salvage yard but could not find one, will a v8 pulley work?? or same size v6 work?? or does it have to be a camaro v6?? thanks.......

Get the same diameter. Doesn't matter what it comes off.

Here's a 2.8L truck set up, looks like the pulley is more off set the the camaro pulley. The diameter is about the same as the p/s pump pulley.

Nope, the s-10 2.8 has a longer water pump. Maybe the 4th gen 3.4s might be the same. Or try to get one from some one on here.
I see one on ebay 25 bucks or less.

I tried one off a s 10, and a v 8 and it would not fit due to hub on the water pump is to big to fit the puley.....

It looks like an 87 up s10 pulley would, only if you change the pump also.
