couple of questions

1. How hard would it be to transfer an electric fan from one 3rd gen to another? (take my mechanical out and and put in an electric)

2. What all would I need to pull out of the donor car? would I need to buy anything new?

3. there is a tab like sensor on my radiator, what is it for? its located in the middle on the passenger side where the trans cooler is.

as always, thanks much!

Re: couple of questions

JamesC, any "brown outs" when the fans first come on? Is there a need to upgrade the alternator? Thanks.

Re: couple of questions

Should you go that route and like a "Fans On" transparency (mentioned in the link) to fit inside the bezel, PM me your name and address and I'll stick one in the mail.

Re: couple of questions

Thanks much JamesC, sounds cool, but not sure how I would like "warning" light coming on that frequently. Will definitely keep that in mind.

Frankly, that's the reason I didn't install the light myself.
