So I got my stock 84 fan blade it pretty ugly looking but it gets the job done, but I was browsing on jegs and saw these nice looking aftermarket looking blades and I really liked them but just wanted to know if any of you guys ever used them before?
and do you guys know which one would work best for me??I read that the fatter ones work better when your in traffic..
heres the link to the blades I found..

Forget about a flex fan, use a clutch if you're going to keep a mechanical fan.

^^^^What he said. Just paint it if it looks bad or take it off and put an electric fan and matching shroud on instead. But a clutch fan is hard to beat.

Well I already have a thermal clutch fan and it works fine.. I just replaced it I just don't like the look of the 28 years old fan...... Just wondering if these would make a difference... If not I might still get it just for looks.. Just wondering if anyone's ever used em

It'll be louder and hotter, but that's probably not the kind of difference you're after.
I wouldn't doubt the loudness I don't mind that but why do u say hotter though?

Flex fans don't move air as well as a stock flyswatter.

it's because flex fan blades don't have as much pitch as most clutch fans-some flex fans such as flex a lite 1300 series are decent though and usually cool ok at idle speeds while blowing a massive amount of air at higher rpm-though the blades flatten some at higher rpm, flex fans still draw a few HP at higher Rpm;years ago tried a 1300 flexalite 18" on my car and the HP draw was noticable at over 4500 RPM (factory OD pulleys in place,so fan turning quite a bit faster than crank)Properly matched to the fan blade, clutch fans freewheel the fan above ~1800-2000 rpm to cut HP draw and noise

He's correct, idle ok, high speed it won't pull enough on hot days
