How do i wire the fan to come on with engine? Help!
The previous owner had a toggle switch but it kills my battery and sometimes I might forget to turn it on when I'm in a rush, how can I wire the fan to come on when the engine comes on, the ECM is removed, can I just ground it to the frame and run a hot wire to the fuse box under the strafing wheel and wire it to a 15amp fuse? Or will it come on when I just turn the key but not start it?

its not that great of a idea to run a electric fan continuously. If you have a pusher or a puller the air drag will takes its tole on the fan motor. If you want better control look at the schematic on the link and ad a switch on the coltrol side of the relay just in case the ect switch fails. aother way would be to go with mechanical fan and fan clutch. If you are determined to have the fan all the time use a bosch style relay and hook the trigger coil side to a switch ignition source.

Find +12V that is only on with the ignition. Wire that to the coil of a relay. Then wire the switch part of the relay inline with a fan.

Use a very simple adjustable thermostatic electric fan controller like the one I'm using.
You adjust the switch so it comes on when you want it to automatically. Then (if I remember correctly)shuts off when it hits a temp. 10* cooler than the setting.

It dose not get any simpler than this =
