3.1 rad

I have used the search button but haven't had any luck. I am going to be doing a v8 swap in my car in the next coupple of months and the rad on my 2.8 is bad. i was wondering if i can use the 3.1 rad on the 2.8 so i don't have to spend more than i have .

Re: 3.1 rad

Yes IIRC the 3.1 Rad will work fine. Im unsure if the cooling capacity is the same. But the hoses will fit up correctly. T

Re: 3.1 rad

I thought the 3.1 radiator was the v8 radiator as well....
Not sure about Camaros, but my 3.1 has the upper hose connect on the driver's side, and 2.8s seem to connect on the passenger side in the pics I've seen. If that's the case, the 3.1 hoses should be all that's needed with it.
