NEED HELP WITH OIL COOLER LINES AND HEATER CORE LINES.
What's up guys I have a 91 trans am 350 tpi. I need some help I bought the car and it has the lines to the oil cooler but they have nothing running to them and also a heater hose line is missing. I need to see if anybody has a picture or can explain where to start I wanna hook up the oil cooler and the heater hose. Right now I have a line from the throttle body going direct into my radiator.

Re: NEED HELP WITH OIL COOLER LINES AND HEATER CORE LINES.
That is the diverter valve. For Max-AC, the (hot) coolant is diverted and does not go to the heater core. Coolant goes through the 90* hose, down to the steel tube, then to the radiator (no KC4 oil cooler), or to the oil cooler, then the radiator.
Lots of posts had told of failures, replacement part failures, and lots of people removing them. It you can deal with less effective max-AC, then you may consider skipping the valve. Coolant routing would be: TB to heater core, to oil cooler, to radiator... removing the TB-to-oil cooler bypass.

My ac works good on max too. So I would just need to find the hoses to hook it up

So can I hook up my oil cooler even if I leave the heater core bypassed?
