heater core: which hole is the inlet and outlet?

Hi all,
I have replaced my heater core, and want to double check that I will be connecting my hoses right. My 86 iroc-z has one hose coming out of the water pump and the other from the manifold. I belie

ve the one from the manifold goes to the right side hole, if I am looking at it from the front of the car . Is that correct? I marked with a blue arrow where I think it goes in the picture below.

Thanks in advanced!

The large connector goes to the water pump.
Small one to the intake manifold.
