Hi, I am french, I live in LYON, I have an Trans Am GTA 87 since 1 month, but after the flush of cooling, I has loose the heater and the motor of ventilation works but really less, no ventilation, in position cold or heat, same thing.......just a little bit....why ?
Before ventilation has work good, the heater ...I don't remember.....
Oh-you have electronic controls-I don't know too much about those, except I think vacume still operates the dampers-electric valves operated by control head switching the vacume ...Nice radio BTW Hopefully someone who knows firebird electronic controls will seethis and chime in...
look around underhood for a disconnected vacume line since the trouble started with the coolant flush and also if no heat, might have "air lock"situation in heater core coolant path after the coolant flush-perhaps someone here knows how to bleed a late model thirdgen heater that uses the shutoff valve.

My heater don't give heat... The ventilation is Ok, I removed the cover under the dashboard and when I active the buttom cold/heat, we hear a noise on the motor on the right(on picture) but without the rod or arm moving ? how the rod move ? with this motor and open the door for an access to the heat ?
The motor make some noise but nothing to move, possible to find one ? I don't find on rockauto, someone know this piece ?
