mmm yeaaa hii, bill lumberg here. Did you get that memo? I am going to ask you to go ahead and not ask that here. Yea that would be great.

There is NO good chip except one made on your exact car. Meaning there is no good aftermarket chips. Anyone who really know about this will tell you the same.

It says on this board "DIY PROM burning help. No PROM begging. No PROMs for sale. No commercial exchange. NOT a referral service."

Don’t waste your money on an aftermarket piece of junk chip. Burn your own. If you are not into that look for into on the TPI board for info.

None.

They are all garbage and do very little for your engine. There are some "tuners" that do a reasonable job (if they've done hands on testing on similar cars), but they charge a lot - a lot more than you'd pay to burn your own.

Don't make any changes, and run the stock one.

Not being into burning, is like tuning a Holley without having any jets.

I would'nt mind getting into burning, but I dont have the hardware, money, or any knowledge in this type of thing. I was just thinking there has to be someone producing good chips out there

i appreciate the reply also

There is more than likely someone within 100 miles of you that has the equipment and knowledge to do some hands on testing n tuning for your setup. However, if you cannot find someone close by, EdWright at Fastchip can do a rough tuned chip from far away for an ok price. TPIS also has a service that burns proms for unique setups from afar. Whatever you do, DONT get Hypertech, or Superchip, or any of that other halfass barely tuned off the shelf junk- You'll be sorely dissapointed!

150 will at least get you the basics, for doing itself.

Add up trying 2-3-4 different chips trying to get the most out of your car, and getting them reburnt when you change something.

You can't afford not to spend the time and energy to do your own.
