To be honest, if you have a laptop, even an older inexpensive one, there are free scan/logging tools available.

Both Moates ECM852 and TunerPro are free. And they data log.

OTOH, there are folks that like the Auto X-Ray product.

Looks like it will do what you require. Here is the manufactures link with some info:

Might work fine to scan, but then what are you going to use to burn new chips? Sounds like the laptop is still the better way to go to me. You can get a cheapie off eBay....

thanks, I have a place that is buring me chips i just want to check the chips out and give them the ness. info off the scanner that they need when they need to redo them. I already paid the 375 for the chip so I might as well just stick with it till they get it right.

What's *right*?.
Good enough to just keep you happy or what's best for your engine?.
No one can afford to get a chip Correct for 375. They might get close, and some are ridiculously off, yet run OK.

IMO, you'd do better to cut your loses, and get into doing it yourself. Ya, ya, ya, takes work and effort, but all tuning does. There's simply no short cuts, in getting a tune correct.

People here are only trying to help.
Sometime (most of the time ) the best answers come from deviations on the original problem.
And of course many are biased to the DIY of tuning due to the laundry list of problems associated with no doing it yourself.
All in all, the ending point was that for the money already invested, you could be at the point you want to be "in control".
If the time permitted you may have made the steps in that direction.
I'm in Strongsville, PM me if you want to get together and do some work in the meantime.
Who knows, maybe you'll get a cheapie laptop instead of the scanner and then be on a different track.
