anybody know how to remove the computer system out of an 84 camaro, 305 carberated?

disconnect them behind where the glove box would be.....youll need a noncomputer controled carb ect...... speedo went elic in 84 i think... and im not sure how that will work or if it will...tao

You'll probably have to get a new distributor??. Pull the cap off and check to see if it has any weights/springs under the rotor. If not then you'll need to find a distributor with mechanical/vaccum advance.

I just went and looked at the article. It is more for an EFI to carb conversion. You already have the intake manifold. But it may help a little.

Axle/Gears: 3.23 10 bolt
I have a crossfire car that I converted to carb. I pulled the ecu, and kept my computer controlled distrubutor and it runs fine, so you may not have to yank the distributor. It may not work with you though, so who knows.
