Disabling Oil Temp Sensor in Tuner Pro RT using Axcn bin

RBob has tried to help me with this but I am not really that knowledgable yet with tuning GM's, much yet using Tuner Pro.

I know there are two settings/flags that you must disable. The high and low oil temp sensors......So I am assuming that they are in the flags/switches section of tuner pro rt.

RBob said that the oil temperature sensors are malfunction word 4, bits 1 & 7. Oil temp high & low.

But anyways, I open tuner pro and i open the acxn bin with the $8d mask. The program shows 3 boxes on the left of the page.......constants/scalers, flags/switches, and tables/functions.

Now, I'm assuming that this malfunction word 4 is somewhere in the flags/switches section, i just cant find anything that says malfunction word 4 or high and low oil temp settings to uncheck/disable.

i just see stuff like "switch 16 (VATS TCC-R 4th-NO VATS OLP) - Bit 7- B7", etc.....

so out of that whole list of flags/switches, which is for the oil temp sensor?

is it located somewhere actually in the hex code?

hopefully my question is understood and makes sense.

thanks

Which XDF file are you using?

The switches/flags section is the correct sention to find the check boxes for the oil temperature DTCs.

What I was asking about the XDF file is which one is it. These files are created by different people and vary from one to another. So what is available and how the parameters are labeled vary. There are probably 4 to 6 different ones around just for $8D.

in tunerpro do you click "set" to enable or disable these codes? Ie should it say "set" or "not set" to disable the settings.

Un-check the box to disable.
