Re: ECM's For Sale

a 1227730 will work in a LOT of applications.

any of the 90-92 F-bodies with the exception of the TBI motors.

the AUPC MEMCAL is meant for a 1990 L-body(corsica/beretta) with a 3 speed auto though, that would need to be swapped out for a correct MEMCAL.

Re: ECM's For Sale

I'm trying to decide if I should swap a 350 into my 305 tbi on my 91 firebird, but I'm not sure if I need to swap the ecm or not. I think I would have to, but I'm having a hard time finding and/or understanding information for this. any advice? And would any of these even work with what I'm trying to do? (305-350 tbi)

Re: ECM's For Sale

My ECM number is 01228746.
and my PROM says: ANTT 8026
I dont see anything resembling the picture of the memcal thats in the sticky at the top... only the prom, a barcode/serial number, and a tiny chip with no numbers or ID on it.
Any help would be much appreciated. I want to do this engine swap, but this computer stuff is way over my head, and I havent been finding a whole lot about the specifics for the ECM/PROM swap that I may or may not need? I hope its just the prom that needs switching. That would make this a lot easier.

No need to swap the ECM. Just need a "corrected" bin.
