1227730 ecm vats?

New to this. Have read alot here. Have a 92 RS 3.1 V6 auto. Believe I have a vats issue. Does anyone have pics, diagram of the plugs for the 1227730 ecm. I need to find the wire for vats ( fuel enable ) to bypass.
This ecm has 3 plugs, one being yellow the other two are blue.
Thanx for any help in advance.

Pin F10, should be on the yellow connector.

But even finding that wire what are you going to do? Doesn't the VATS turn off fuel and starter relay on these like a B body VATS?

Most of the time it's a worn out key cylinder, you can make a resister to plug into harness so VATS module get's resistence it needs to see from key but bypass ignition switch/pellet in key.

the other day I parked the car in the garage, backwards. The next day it would not start, but would crank. A week has gone by with my probing around , still cranks but no start. I plan on bypassing the fuel enable circuit.

If I can get a hold of a service manual, are these connectors onthe ecm shown. displayed. explained.

That doesn't sound right. If the VATS was triggered for no reason at all, it will reset itself after a few minutes. If your engine is cranking but not starting, that doesn't necessarily mean your VATS was triggered, it could be your injectors, your ignition module, or even your fuel pump. When you turn the ignition key on, does the VATS light stay on, or does it shut off after a few seconds? Did you pull a plug after turning it over to see if fuel is being dumped from the injectors? Have you checked for spark? Does your pump prime w/key on?

Guess it didn't like being in there backwards?

VATS rarly goes bad and when it does because of wrong key in ignition or dirty contacts in key cylinder or key pekket the PassKey light comes on. 4 minutes to rest and try again. Clean contacts in ignition switch with Q tip and alchol, same for pellet. If the cylinder is going bad it usually fails slower, wiggle key then start. But B body will not crank either when VATS enabled, no one answered of F body has starter relay hooked to VATS unit like B body.

Check spark, check fuel...

Sorry for the delay. Its cold here in FL. I do have another ride. The fuel pump does prime w/key on. Security lite does go off after 2-3 sec. I did a quick cheap spark test, I saw no spark . I do need a spark tester. Will continue w/voltmeter test of pickup next weekend.

Re: 1227730 ecm vats?

Could not test pickup for all the rust in the distributor. Did a test on the coil which I saw in my Haynes book. Need to replace coil, cap and rotor are junk. May wind up replacing distributor.
