New here, got question bout prom chips!!!

Ok, I got two prom chips (1 from a 85 Trans AM I think with a V8 and I'm guessing a 86 camaro with a V6) a friend gave'em to me. What numbers on them can I run to check them to make sure what they are, their stock chips and I was gonna see bout how much I could sell'em for....Thanks

Not a DIY prom question but do a search with the 3-4 letters called a broadcast code.

Re: New here, got question bout prom chips!!!

Thanks...I'm more of a Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth guy and was taught most of what I know by my grandpa, soooooo he wasn't too much into the whole computer in cars thing..lol
By the time I got into that the car makers was try'n to screw things up then obd2 came out, which was way better by the plug standardization. Anyway I did as much searching for broadcast codes as these things are worth...I think, couldn't find'em.....one has BPR? and the others got CPM on it? Do those sound right? And does anyone have any idea what I could get for them (like on ebay)?

BPR is for a '82 f-body, LG4 engine (carb), with the TH200 trans (3-spd), and cali emissions. Used in the 1225950 ECM.
