Who makes the best chip?

My car is a Monte SS but I have a 383 with the TPI SuperRam on it. Everything is basically the same as you guy have. On my Grand Nationals, we use Turbo Tweak to burn all of our chips. He's the best and the only one we really want to use. For these TPI set ups, do you guys have a go to guy? My car has a chip in it that was burned a long time ago late 90's early 2000's. I'm sure its out of date so I'm going to start looking into a new one if I can. Thanks for the info! -----Jeremy

There are a few, very few, you can trust to do what you need. Bottom line -- "Who makes the best chip?" -- you do!

Chips really are a thing of the past Jeremy. Flash based tunes are here nowadays, EBL for TPI, and SFI-6 for Grand National LC2's. If you have your heart set on a chip though, just ask Eric Marshall from Turbo Tweak to burn you one for your TPI, he should be able to do it no problem, especially if you have a history with him...

Can a chip burner change something in the chip to turn the speed limiter off?

I have an account with Eric and make a few orders a month. I actuly spoke with him about that and he's not familiar enough to work with the TPI format. Can you explain the EBL format? I'm doing a 100 shot on this car, if I can get a nitrous tune, that would be great. Its a t56 now too so integrating pulse based speedo would be nice too.

Yep. For the driveability stuff you really need to drive the car, see what it does and tune accordingly.
