TTA NO START ISSUE!!
Hello guys I am trying to find the culprit in a no start issue i am experiencing on a 1989 Turbo Trans AM. The vehicle was sitting for about 3 years when purchased. I have changed the alternator, starter, fuel pump, and fuel filter. The car will crank but not start up unless I spray starter fluid in the Tb. I checked the resistance on the 28 lb injectors and they all read between 11.4 and 12.4 ohms. Any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

Javier
You didn't mention over at TTA if you pulled your injectors out and see if they are gummed up. They could be from sitting for 3 years. Pull em and give it a shot.
It's NOT getting fuel to the intake, which tells me it fuel delivery(injectors)

What is your fuel rail pressure with KOEO?
Pull the fuel rail, it's easy enough and check. Today's gas at 3 years old will varnish in a heartbeat.

Im guessing the lines leading to the fuel pressure regulator need to be disconnected?

No prob. It's pretty straight forward. Just have some rags and DON'T SMOKE while doing it. And you might as well check in at TurboTweak for a set of new injectors. Or as TTOP said, have them cleaned and tested.

Along with the LT1 MAF and translater, 255 lph Walbro FP, TTA Hot wire kit and Scanmaster 2.1
About 1100.

Should be good to go!

Set of 6 42lb injectors. Works well on Turbo Buicks from stock to mid 11's safely in most cases. Part# 01D030B. Depending on what car these are used on, you would require a new chip, or ECM programming to work correctly.

Re: TTA NO START ISSUE!!
He burns the chip for YOUR application. I just wanted to do it all and be done with it. For that price for your application, you really can't go wrong. Everything now is soooo much better than in 89 when they put this together. You would actually do the car a favor just by doing the Injector/chip combo. TOTALLY reversible if you ever wanted to.
As for the 1/4 mile with mine........no.........I pretty much drive it on the weekends and terrorize the street( like a Grandma) and then hurry back home to the garage and admire it.

Re: TTA NO START ISSUE!!
Yup injectors are shot, does anyone know where I could get some 28lb injectors that would sit right in, since my turbo tweak chip is burned to 28lbs, or direct me towards a set that would be a direct fit. The only ones I have found for 28 lb injectors are for the ls1. Would this be a direct fit?

Re: TTA NO START ISSUE!!
Eric will reburn that chip for you to a larger injector size for not too much money. You should use this opportunity to go larger with the injectors since it will give you growing room later on. Even if you do nothing and leave the car stock, the 60's will be fine. Check out the turbotweak site for a set of injectors.
If you were looking to reuse the stock injectors, send them off to an injector servicing company like Southbay fuel injection that can clean them up and make them run like new again.
