I just got the car about 2 weeks ago and it wont idle at normal rpm it idles at 1750-2k ive checked for vacuum leaks replaced iac and tps and adjusted both car fidnt have a cel so i decided to check the bulb it was blown i put a new one in it came on so tried to jump the aldl to pull codes and it doesnt work foes that mean its the ecm?
Idk my gauge says above 3k and the engine is revving pretty high woukd torque converter lock up cause that is its not locking up? And what the easiest way to tell if the computer is trash
The higher rpm could be from the tcc not lockup up. The lack of communication from the ecm makes me think it’s faulty. The check engine light should be able to blink atleast a code 12.
Yes the ecm does tcc lockup on pin a7 at the ecm tan/blk.
some aldl shave the splice for the tcc on pin f. A test light could be used to see if the solenoid is getting power.
