I just bought a 86 iroc it runs great then one day i got a code 51 the garage said the ECM was going bad i sent it out to have it checked they said the processor was going bad so they found me a new one both ECM
Old one is a 1227165 with a memcal delco ANY 8980
New one is a 1227165 with a memcal delco ARFT 5838
when i put the new one in it ran good for 2 miles then it the check engine light came on and it started acting up
now i want to put my old one back in now i have no power at all but the battery is good does this mean that both computer the old one and new one are fried now
when i was the computers in i disconnected the battery and everything
Help Im at a lost
