1992 tbi to tpi

So i/my daughter has a 1992 RS with tbi on it. She's moving to Cali and I can see her not keep illinois as her home address. So I want to swap her tired 160k mile 305 for my 350 tpi motor and from what I've seen tpi's run cleaner anyway. So my question is would this be possible with the same ecm with just tuning the memcal?

Ebl flash with port mod or 1227730 ecm . Don’t know that emissions would be less with tpi.
there is a repin thread 8746 to 730 on the site.

Thank you and honestly I have no proof of that ether, but I have driven cars with both motors and tpi seem just to run cleaner although I have no proof. Other then batch fire (tpi) vs. Constant fueling (tbi). I know there's tons more to it.

Is tbi really batch fired. How does that work so far away from the valves🤔 wish they were sequential.

Not much difference in distance than a carb.

Re: 1992 tbi to tpi

Could always have your TBI unit and intake bored to 46mm. Get 350 inj and run bout 15lb of fuel pressure on that L98. It works good. I did it, didn't see a need to re-invent the wheel. In saying that though...TPI makes an awesome looking engine!
