Timing in relation to stall speed?

Any rule of thumb or guidelines to follw when your running a real converter behind an engine? :-) after my vortec conversion, etc my overrun cluth let go and im rebuilding it and gong with a vivglante converter in the 26-2800 range most likey (will know for sure t'row)....

What additional timing can i add ?
can u bring it in quicker/slower when running more converter?

way i look at it u would be able to run more timing on the lower end due to the motor not really loading until your on the stall basically....

i will be attacking my spark tables soon , by the grace of *** and the par thtrottle tuning article i have my fuel tables at about the 80% range as far as dialing them i and will hopefuly be done within next few weeks wheni get the car back

hiints and helful insites welcome
later
