LT1 VE tables

Does anyone know where I can find examples of LT1 VE tables. I am not looking for a .bin file, maybe some who has a table with the number so I can get an idea on where to start with a Miniram L98 motor. I already have the EGR disabled, and the injector constant set correctly.

Thanks

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure that the LT1 is a MAF system. If the LT1's use a similar VE table to the 730 ECM's then you aren't going to be able to translate it to a MAF car (pre 1990). The MAF's use a 2D grams per second v. RPM to obtain the correct amount of fuel. If it's a MAP (Speed Density, 90-92) ECM then you are still going to have problems because the LT1's tables will be in terms of g/sec not the MAP v. RPM v. VE that you need for the SD system.

Either way I would look for someone else that has a miniram from your style car and go from there.

I am pretty sure either a 93 or 94 LT1 engine has VE tables because it is speed density and not MAF

92 & 93 are SD. 94-up is MAF

Alright, I was under the impression that all LT1's were MAF systems. I stand corrected.

I can't speak for all the LT1s, but the 95s have both sensors.

The PCM uses the MAF primarily and then the MAP to independently double check the MAFs calculations. If you disconnect the MAF then it will run on the MAP. there is a switch setting to set the PCM to a MAP Only Mode.

Just a note 93' Fbody's are all SD as for 94+ Fbodys are all MAF. However, if you look into the PCM of the 94+ Fbody's they have the tables for VE vs RPM vs Load but it has been debated if it is even used over at the LT1Edit list (94+ Fbody editor list). It is now believed that the only time that 94+ Fbody's use the VE tables is when it is run in SD mode.

I have some SD LT1 bins to look at if you like. They are not like MR VE tables for some reason.

So you've seen into the 96 MY stuff?.
I do believe the OBDII requirements are that two independent procedures be use for diagnostics. That was a 96+ item.
Yes, you can 0 the MAP stuff out and have the car just fine on the 95- cars. Or run a 95 in MAP only.
