Anyone know where to get them? I was able to finally find a free diagnostic program for the 870 and the schematics for the cable (easy find there) and .bin files for the 870, but after hours of looking and searching I can't find any .ecu files for winbin.
Are there any or will winbin not work for the 870? I really don't want to pay $100-$500 for a little program for editing the .bin file.

I'd even settle for a good explaination of how to make my own .ecu file.

I don't ever recall seeing a 870 ecu file for winbin. Get the tunercat editor, it'll cost you $70 (comes with $42 definition file) for the editor and $20 for the $1F definition file. That's all you need. If later on you go to another ecm it'll cost you another $20 for that def. file. If you were to find a HAC for the $1F than you could probably make an ecu file. I don't know how to make one but if you read the ecu files you currently have as a word or notepad document you can see what it takes to make one.
