Will my 486 run romulator well enough?

Cant answer u for sure there on the speed , but do make sure u have 128k memeory or it wont run :-)
Im running on a borrowed pentium2 for right now and my diacom is on a 486/75 or 90

I run the TC romulator on my 300MHz and 128 MRam and having some trouble with the graphics. I talked to TC and I will test some stuff later to se if it helps............

I'd very much doubt it if you plan to run the TunerCat frontend. There's no way it'll run well on my 486-75 /w/ 24MB even, and frankly it won't run for much good on my P-166 either.
While TunerCat is a nice pretty program, it is a resource HOG just like most modern software. So you will probably need at least a P3-450 /w/ 128+MB if you want to run it comfortably.

I wouldn't go that far. It's not as though TunerCat R/T will be the only game in town forever...

you probly have 16MB of memory.
you only need 128k free..
1024k = 1MB
depending on how much overhead the OS and whatever else is running takes, you probly do have 128k free

I think it's mostly the Windows bloatload that drags it down. When I try to do TunerCat stuff (not even R/T) like moving 3D plots around or incrementing sections of a table, it dang near brings it to the knees. Even the P166 I use gets pretty grumpy.
