.bin and .ecu files
Ok, I have searched through this forum and haven't found any links or places that would have these files, I do have a source for .bin files, but need the proper .ecu files to have the proper info displayed, or so it would seem.
I know I could DL the .bin file directly from the PROM, but that will take some time, since I do not have a burner at this point, but a firend of mine does. So I am in need of .ecu files, moreso, and would like to know of a place to find them.
diy-efi ftp seems to be down, so that is not available at this point.
I am also interested in any info that is with in these files and possibly if there are ways to create your own and what info is needed to do this, or at least where I might find the needed info.
BTW this seems to be one of the best DIY PROM forums around. :hail:
:edit: I found a couple of sources, but haven't found some of the .ecu files that I'd like to find, like the 749.

I have been creating my own ecu files and there is nothing to it. I prefer to create my own as the ones floating around seem incomplete for my uses. Once you get a couple open them up in notepad so you understand how they work. Unfortunatly you need hacks to make yoru own so you know what addresses, formulas and such to create your own. I will link you to ecm guys website as he has some of the more popular hacks.

Thanks for the replies, I have looked at the first two sites mentioned, although they are filled with information, unfortunatly, they did not have the files I am looking for.
I will have to look at that 3rd one though.

I was thinking that.
I did look at the site you posted and it seems to be very helpful, I now have it bookmarked.
