New Dohiccies Prominator

Talk about neat.
I sent my Prominator (Pro) back with Bill for him to perform some more magic on it. ie He's got his own version of a memcal adapter that he permanently solders the Prominator to. With the ribbon connector for the switcher, it justtttt missed clearing the case, so I trimmed about 1/4" off of the one edge of the case, and now it's all together.

Fooled around and loaded the same .bin in all 8 locations, just for something to start with, and fired the engine up.

Neat stuff.
Spin the switch to any position, and not so much as a missed beat with the engine running.

What I'm going to do is have a folder with 8 subfolders, and the source code in each, then assemble things as I go and reload the corresponding bin location with the same numbered subfolder.

Actually there will be several Folders of 8, for various source codes.

Now I just need another notebook

5 years ago, I'd never have imagined things ever getting this far advanced.
Wow.
Simply Incredible.

Obviously a big Thanks to Ken and Bill for this.

Now if it would just stop raining for a while.............

Well, Bruce, you are one of the many we have to thank, IMO.

I'm excited anticipating the Speed-reader.

As for the rain, I'd like to at least be able to mow my lawn! It looks like an overgrwon field! Ah, that's Ohio...

I'M LOST ! !!

This is just too easy.

Being able to swap back and forth is incredible. I'm to the stage of working at 1-2d ign timing, and less then 1% VE, so being able to make little changes in tiny areas, and see the slight differences is just amazing.

Not to mention having a couple FF.bin makes somewhat of an anti-thieft devise.

AND,
YES,
You've read it here first,
I MIGHT, actually put the ecm somehere other then on the passenger seat/floorboard.

I'm going to have to check out this new prominator this summer. Seems like a cool little device... I wonder if I can run Craig's old switcher with the Romulator emulating all 8 calibrations...

It was sitting on the conference table, for 2 days

Nope, won't work, you need to get a Prominator

Yeah but so was a lot of cool stuff that wasn't making it's way into demonstration...
One side of me just wanted to see it work and another part of me was just interested in the blue LED .
Remember, unlike you I've been able to switch with my Craig Moates adaptor without engine interuption so it might work.
A Prominator is in my near future but the car needs brakes.... or does it?
