42 LB/HR injectors with 749, anyone else?
Sorry to bring this back up, but I can't seem to get my car running as good as it should be. It's running rich everywhere and I"m curious as to what other people are doing with 42 lb injectors. I've changed the bpc vs egr to .56 instead of .62 since I'm using ford injectors in my bird, and changed accel enrichment down to 300 across the board, and it's still running rich. Just missed the woodward cruise for this stupid problem.

I'm not using TC, so I can't tell you what mine work out to (60PPH), but that .56 would seem large, IMO.

According to the 747's BPC calculation (assuming that's applicable), you should have a constant of 43 decimal. This would be a value of approximately 0.015 in the editor.
Of course, this assumes the calculation is valid for the 749 and your editor has the same scaling as I've used above. If all else fails, you should be able to use a hex editor and modify the memory location directly.

I am still running rich with my 42# ford inj. but, not that rich? what tunner cat ($58 or $58B) are you using? I know they changed some of the cal. to help in the v8 applications. after the last update it now shows (7.03 gal/hr for injector rate)
I had also changed my AE to 300 and found it to be pretty close(a little bit over rich even for a boosted car)
I am more concerned about my cruise fueling first.

I'am using the ford green top 42Ibs injectors and in promgrammer I have bpc vs egr set at .71 across the board for my 5.7L engine if that helps any.

Tony89gta, which program are you using to set the field?
Also, .015, could try the low end of the scale, which program would this be in? Programmer I'm assuming.
Also, tony89gta, did you change any other of the fuel adding tables, ae enrichment, pe, etc to compensate for the bigger injectors? or was the bpc vs egr and the AE % good enough? Thanks for the responses guys.

I did have to change in Cats the table Accel Enrichment Multiplier Vs RPM, what did was just cut all values in half, it's not perfect but it worked, runs a lot better now.
